Florida AG launches antitrust investigation into FSU snub

Been trolling FSU fans on Twitter only to run across this just now.

The Selection Committee was in Texas; how does Florida have any jurisdiction to enforce it's laws against an action taken in Texas? Any antitrust authority would have to be Federal.

This is just the FLA AG pandering for political points.

Probably that. But I’m sure it’s also a strategy to try and get FSU out of paying the full freight to leave the ACC early. Not sure it’ll work but I’d imagine there’s some hope from that office in that.
 
They just need to beat the crap out of Georgia to prove the point. BUT! I doubt they can..

One of the demands is that they want all communication between the SEC and ESPN.

FSU will get close to 6mm for being in the Orange Bowl so it’s not like they are out of pocket that cash.

The monetary payout is the weakest argument.
 
Politicians gonna politicize.

If this helps us leave the ACC then so be it
