Eagles played better last night and Swift stepped up big into the starting role.

looking forward to a slower work day and will finally be able to get out and mow the front lawn, which needs it bad.

weather should be good this weekend
 
Very impressive stuff by Swift and Philly. Nice W, fellas.

I got 19 points out of Davonta Smith and my opponent started Gainwell. So looking like another W this week unless something wild happens.

33 points left on the bench w Cousins though - hopefully Mahomes has a big game vs Jax.

Last day at this gig. Start my new gig on Monday. Be a week of training, so I'll probably be on here & other place less. Ready for the football weekend. HS team has their first challenge in awhile. Buck's tackle team will have another illegal running back to play in the morning on Saturday. Michigan has Bowling Green that should make them play hard & honest before B1G play. 49ers have the Rams on Sunday for the first division game. Have to paint the pre-k& k flag football field Saturday morning & change my oil Saturday afternoon.

Vikings suddenly can't win one score games, doesn't help when you can't hang onto the football. I knew their run defense would be porous, but holy shit, not that bad

Slept like shit, Murray was on edge all night with FIL dogs here and he had to be kept in the bedroom, he usually sleeps out in living room. FIL is already on road back to Wisconsin

Mrs Pnk is also going to Wisconsin today so she can visit her mom and dad who both have birthdays in September, so they're doing lunch, going to hang out a bit, and she'll be headed home tonight
 
Eagles got lucky last night. Refs basically playing 12th man for them. Swift will get hurt by week 6 if they run him that hard every week.

Eagles win, we finally get to do the end of season baseball party (last two scheduled days it rained), looks like good weather for the weekend. Would have liked to do a "local summer" beach day, but Lee puts a bit of a crimp in that, especially on Saturday. Might just get some stuff for s'mores and do a fire pit or two in the back yard.

Or the Vikings TD that should have been negated by Sweat getting egregiously held which would have been a sack and no TD.

But Handi isn't actually watching the games anyway so this is all lost on him. The "home cooked refs" narrative was pre-baked and ready to go.
 
Watched the first half of the game while at my kid's middle school chorus concert that was surprisingly good. A 6th grader blew the roof off the place singing My Immortal that would have made Amy Lee cry... multi-minute standing ovation and everything. I feel bad for the kid that had to go after her.

So are we thinking that after 6 quarters the rust is finally off the offense? I was getting pretty sick of watching 3 and Outs. And it's crazy how many turnovers this D creates with such bad coverage. That one TD there wasn't an Eagle within 20 yards of the receiver.

There wasn't, and that's a problem; but that TD never should have been anyway because Sweat got molested. I didn't look close enough to see where the break down in coverage was because I was too obsessed with the missed holding call. But it was definitely a coverage break down.

Confusion between a backup safety and a backup slot CB. Safety played man, CB played zone. Since I'm not privy to the play call, I'm not sure whose mistake it was.
