Me and my buddy Co-manage a team in a new to us league on Sleeper. We joined after the draft because the previous team owner decided not to play. The team we are playing this week offered us the deal of a century, our Derrick Henry for CMC, Jonathan Taylor and Tyreek Hill. We immediately accepted. Well, it fucked us. Since Henry hadn't played yet, it took him out of our lineup and gave him to the other guy, but since CMC, Taylor and Hill had already played, the other team gets to keep them through this week's games. The guy then also picked up Justice Hill and Gus Edwards, so I have to resort to start Patrick Ricard tonight.
I brought this horseshit up in the group chat, and all of the guys think it's perfectly fine what happened, and "brilliant strategy". I asked on what planet does it make sense that one team gets to benefit from the players they traded away, yet the other team doesn't. They said I should've read the rules. I did. It mentions nothing about this scenario.
What's y'alls opinion?
