I love garlic and use it liberally as much as I can in almost everything. I go through a Costco 3 pound bag every month.

Its also a healthy food.

What do you think?

i've always thrown garlic in things when the recipes called for it usually throw however many cloves through the garlic press.. never been about sweet potatoes, but wanted to incorporate a sweet potato casserole dish into thanksgivng this year, and it seemed a good deal. making that garlic confit, man that shit smelled so good ant i know the flavors came through. feel like it's how i need to make a garlic mashed potato going forward, that confit was so nice.

Did you use the same kind of pepper he did or go with something else. I'm a big pepper guy and haven't even heard of that one.

i had never heard of them before and was going into that having my parent telling m they''d make the meal, don't worry about, it. mom's had ankle surgery days before thanksgiving, so had to cook a few dishes when i was planning on taking it easy, they did have a jar of the calibrain peppers for me at the ready. never heard of them myeself. i guess it's what store you shop at and they found the right one easily enough. they do have some nice ones around them.

One of the best things you can consume, and it makes almost everything taste better

i guess my main revelation was the garlic confit, like was much as i would put it in other things, throwing it in oil for an hour, so fragrant and probably so much better than other things i was throwing it in. like. like, i just feel like if you ever do that with a few cloves of garlic for an few hour, you'll know how much you'll want to throw that in something else .
