side note... i hated wearing dress blues during the Summer Nights shows I was forced to do while stationed in Norfolk.. 90 plus degree with humidity and they had us marching around the field wearing these smh.

Yeah the dress blues were kinda uncomfortable because you also had to be so careful with them. God forbid there was ANYTHING that didn't look right when you were wearing them. I can honestly say one of my best memories is taking my Mom's arm when I was wearing dress blues and escorting her into church. My Dad was also a Marine and he was smiling when he saw that look on Mom's face.
