Some here may have never heard of it. Some here dabbled with it years ago. And some others were really into it years ago.
I'm just here to tell you that a couple years ago I got back into it, and I've been playing it quite extensively lately, and it's still a lot of fun; for me anyway. There's been ebbs and flows of participation - some seasons are low and others swell a bit, but lately it's been on an upward trajectory.
Right now is a great time to get back into it if you've been away awhile. A season just recently ended, so the time to build new players is right now.
If you have no idea at all what I'm talking about, GLB is an online football MMORPG where you build "dots" (they're called that because in the graphical depiction of the game, the players are "dots" on the screen"), and you can purchase/own teams, create offenses/defenses, and train & build your player from rookie level to pro level and watch as it progresses. Again, it's a pretty fun thing to do, especially during the lull of the NFL and College ball off-seasons.

There's a ton of forums and tutorials with up to date information on how to best build these players, and a lot of threads in the forums for best practices for people getting back into the game or just starting for the first time. You should head over there and join up and see what it's about. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
