Until I saw that you posted this. The Coast Guard is legit and they train for and do some unbelievably crazy shit. The video in the OP is insane.

i know i could google this, but do you need to be tall to be a coast guard? i imagine you don't, but there's a coast guard place down the street from where I work and if I ever went to the subway by both of our workplaces, they were always fairly tall.
