I have struggled with some form of joint pain for about 15 years. It was initially diagnosed as gout. Ok fair enough. So I took steps to avoid triggers (diet). I would have 2-3 flares per year usually in the winter months and just work through them. My thought was maybe I am not drinking enough water because its cold and therefore not flushing out my system?
Fast foward to Covid years. I got the first dose of the vaccine when it came out, which I regret. Since I had that vaccination my symptoms have increased in both severity and frequency. Used to be my ankles and now I can have a flare pretty much anywhere. I had tests conducted and my panels indicate an auto-immune arthritis (psoriatic). I am working on a treatment plan but at times its pretty rough. Last winter I was so bad I had to go to the ER twice. I am not saying it caused my condition, I think it was always there.
I am wondering this: Could the vaccine have triggered something given it was supposed to interact with my immune system? Has anyone else experienced a change in their health after the vaccine?
