Goodbye Kirby Smart

They win 10-9 if he takes it into the half, and tells his idiot kicker to kick it through the end zone.

Hang him on Lumpkin

Well, they do beat Bama occasionally

... so, there's that.

Kirby needs to start recruiting better WR’s George Pickens is the only top receiver recruit he’s landed. Ladd McConkey and AD Mitchell were under recruited three stars that turned out to be elite

They’re gone and we’re stuck with a bunch of slot/possession receiver types that can’t catch the ball.

You can say that about several SEC teams TBH. Tennessee being one of them.

This was the worst group of receivers UGA has had in my lifetime. Arian Smith was the top receiver and pretty sure he lead the country in drops. When he was the 4th option mostly used as a gadget guy and deep threat, he was fine, but you’re in bad shape if he’s your WR1.

McConkey and Bowers are 1000 yard receivers as rookies in the NFL. Bowers is impossible to replace, he’s the best player UGA has had in my lifetime, generational talent. McConkey types that are no stars until a big program offers them that turn out to be elite are pretty rare. Gotta recruit em. Those guys that are here this year were great depth pieces, but not guys to be featured. Smith is the only WR on the team that will have any shot in the NFL, and he’ll only get a shot because of his speed

That deep ball where the receiver literally clapped his hands together to catch it was ridiculous.

My son used to catch like that, when he was 5

It’s been that way all year. The TE’s have been reliable for the most part, none of are near Bowers level, but they at least catch the ball, but ND did a good job covering them, and other than the third string white guy, the rb’s have been non factors in the pass game all season, and when we were at our best the RBs played huge roles in the pass game, even down field with Cook and McIntosh

WR, RB and o-line depth were my biggest concerns coming into the season, and they were the biggest issues. Next year should be better, and I’m not gonna dwell too much about 11 wins and a conference championship, if that’s considered a down year, your program is in good shape
