Based on the first-person shooter video game franchise, Halo will debut in 2022 on the Paramount Plus streaming service, starring Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief. Teaser:

 
Looks like a semi-bite of Mandalorian. I will probably watch, if I need a binge, but I won’t prioritize it at all (unless it gets amazing word of mouth).
 
they did all this already with Red Vs Blue

 



BTW, the entire first season is on Youtube for free if you want to check it out before season 2 starts on Paramount+
 
Cancelled after two seasons. They literally just got to the Halo at the end. Didn't love it but I did watch it all and was entertained. Probably would have watched a third season as well

I never watched it. But I never played the games, so I didn’t have a pull to watch. I heard the first season was rough, but the second season was an improvement.

It just never delivered and never got you to care about any of the characters.

First season started out really cool, especially if you played the games. Then for some reason they focused on some other minor characters and it got bad.

2nd season I thought was pretty good

Don’t even care put the money into more seasons of Rabbithole and Lioness.

Yeah its not that surprising. 2nd season was much better than the first but the damage was done. No one really cared

Rumors that they are going to try to get it picked up by another service so we shall see
 
That sucks. I enjoyed it. Was it the greatest story every written? No. But it was nostalgic and not a bad show to turn my brain off to. Hopefully it gets picked up, because, as already mentioned, you just can't end it when they finally reach Halo.

I'd be skeptical. Expensive show where much of the fan base actually hates it. Considering Netflix is the only streamer that actually makes money, I'd say chances are very slim it gets picked up

Yeah I'm not hopeful either. Just hate when shows end on cliffhangers, even ones that are only so so. Especially with this one literally getting to the whole point of the story. Ah well. Life is full of little disappointments
