Happy anniversary!!

An older buddy of mine(I didn’t know him until a few years after the fact) was on the bench for App State in that game.

App State was my favorite FCS program and now they’re my favorite G5 program

15 years ago on this day. Probably one of the best days on the hoop.

Happy anniversary everyone.

At a Buffalo Wild Wings with a bunch of Ohio State fans half heartedly watching them beat up on Youngstown State. Then all the TVs slowly start changing to that game and the whole place becomes App State fans and erupts at the end

I still say Michigan fans haven’t been through anything near as soul crushing as 2nd and 26, but at the end of the day, that just made last season’s natty that much sweeter

I think ours is built up by quantity. App State, Trouble with the snap, JT was short.... lots of soul crushing losses to experience in a decade. We even came up with a term to describe our feeling: Urban Dictionary: bpone

BPONE
BLACK PIT of NEGATIVE EXPECTATIONS

The BPONE is a state of mind in which no part of a football game is enjoyable because it is merely a prelude to some pratfall made more embarrassing and or painful by whatever minimal, temporary successes are experienced prior to the pratfall. Thus a kick return touchdown—that rarest butterfly, one the game is steadily trying to erase—during which your author's only reaction was internal and, I quote, "whoop-de-damn-do."
