Went with my Grandparents.
My grandpa got up part way thru.
“I’ve seen this already”.
He fought in WWII. His oldest died in Vietnam.
My Dad ganked his brothers foot stone from the cemetery now that both his parents are right next to him. Which was kinda weird at first. But I like having a second spot as a memorial now.
I had recently watched both Band of Brothers and The Pacific recently. Reminded of both those stories today....just what they went through on all fronts in that war.

I watched the pacific. Band of brothers on deck for me.
Just as savage and real as The Pacific. They both retell details that these troops dealt with solidly. But, I still could not pick which theater I would have wanted to deal with. Each was such hell.
