Hawaii withdrawals from Hawaii Bowl

Can I ask everyone a question? Please, no hate. I just have a question. Why not play these games without all the HIV-infected players, the ones who are 80 lbs overweight, anyone with a pacemaker, those players who are over 65 and anyone who is pregnant and running a 101 degree fever? Then just try to scrimp by and play the damn games with the players who are left? I'm kinda sure they won't have people dropping like flies in the locker rooms. Just askin', OK?
 
When Bowl games are even more meaningless than ever, this is what we get.

Time to expand the playoffs to 32 teams

Good question. But you are old school snd might even expect some to play both ways…oh the horror of such! Dance with who you brung…or the one you have!

My aggie neighbor said A&M had plenty if they were willing to use walk ons. According to him they were below the number of “scholarship” players but had plenty in total. But, he’s often full of shit so that mightbe the case now!

The ironic thing is that if A&M played with a bunch of walk-ons, they could have lived thier 12th Man Tradition. If they somehow won the game, Oh my!

BTW, I remember FSU playing a Music City Bowl vs. Kentucky very short-handed due to an academic (Music Class) situation back in the Bowden Era.

The Seminoles didn't win, but they showed up, played with what they had and competed.

In my opinion ... it should be a forfeit for Hawaii and the Memphis players should head for a fun day on Waimea Bay
