McCarthy isn't worthy of being in the conversation and his play declined towards the end of the season. Milroe played like absolute horse shit for the first half of the year. But, as we have seen with the playoff pairing an entire season's body of work doesn't matterSurprised McCarthy and Milroe didn't get an invite.
It should go to Bo though.
A few weeks ago they said Penix had more deep pass TD's than Nix had Deep pass completions because the Ducks get most of their yards after contact.Daniels seems like best stats all around. But on an 8-4 team.
Penix worst stats minus has the most passing yards. Had late season lull that made people forget about him, but on the best team with multiple clutch “heisman moments” in big games.
Nix has the best passing stats other than yards, more of a rushing threat than Penix but nothing close to Daniels’ numbers. Lit up a bunch of teams but lacking the clutch heisman moments Penix has, losing their biggest two games when they met.
If it’s more about stats, seems like Daniels is the obvious pick (he probably is). If it’s more about memorable clutch moments I think Penix is the guy.
If 0regon won the CCG and Nix had a moment I think he’d be the guy. But seems hard to put him over Penix when they met twice and Penix has the memorable game changing/winning moments.
Trophies are for closers.Surprised McCarthy and Milroe didn't get an invite.

With his stats you would think he would be on a team that had a better record than 8-4 so stats don't equal wins which is the goal of each game.Daniels seems like best stats all around. But on an 8-4 team.
I think those games, weather played a roll, but he still got the win which is the goal.Penix worst stats minus has the most passing yards. Had late season lull that made people forget about him, but on the best team with multiple clutch “heisman moments” in big games.
Nix would be the favorite if they would have beat Washington last week and would be hands down the winner if he would have beat Washington two times this year and 13-0Nix has the best passing stats other than yards, more of a rushing threat than Penix but nothing close to Daniels’ numbers. It shouldn't be about stats but rather what they bring to the table in order to win....If it’s more about stats, seems like Daniels is the obvious pick (he probably is). If it’s more about memorable clutch moments I think Penix is the guy.

Penix isn’t the clear cut winner because there’s an SEC player with monster stats. Even with his low point late in the year, Penix still put up good numbers, but it made it easier for him to get forgot about by any voter who isn’t in the northwest. With his stats you would think he would be on a team that had a better record than 8-4 so stats don't equal wins which is the goal of each game.

If Nix was 13-0 like I said above he would be the clear-cut choice....period....no discussion.
So why isn't Penix the clear-cut winner on a team that is 13-0?
