But seriously, there’s downsides to anything, and a lot of success leads to a spoiled fanbase. Worst case scenario, it’s a 12-2 season, likely gonna be a 13-1 season. UGA fans need to remember a time when 13-1 wasn’t ever gonna be in the cards and 12-2 was the absolute best we could hope for and now it’s considered a disappointing season.
I hate losing to Alabama, don’t get me wrong, but settling for an Orange Bowl coming off back to back natties isn’t the end of the world. Sleep walk through the Orange Bowl and get back at it next season. There’s only a couple other programs that could have gone 12-1 to this point after losing what we lost the last couple years to the draft
