Since we don't have a forum and a lot of these kids will eventually be in college to play.. I'm putting this here..

So yesterday and today St Thomas Aquinas down in Lauderdale and now IMG academy out of Bradenton are playing supposedly good competition from out of state.. Aquinas played St Francis out of Maryland and won it 38-23 and it really wasn't that close all game.. and now IMG is playing Bishop Sycamore ( Ohio ) and is spanking them at home 58- 0.. are these the better schools from those states or what?

Highland Park suited up 150+ for their for their game against Southlake Carroll Thursday night in Jerry's World. Good thing # of players don't matter since Southlake still spanked them 45-21. Doesn't look like Southlake missed their all world QB that much. But, it was 5A vs 6A.

Well, I'm not huge into high school football, but I've never heard of Bishop Sycamore.

Not sure if you had the name right or the state right.... No top 25 recruit out of the state from there from 2020-2023.

They suited up 4X my senior class size. We had 13 players and suited out the junior high team just in case of emergency for area games and the playoffs.
Out in the sticks?

I was shocked to see bishop sycamore on tv playing IMG...Bishop Sycamore is NOT anything close to a powerhouse team, really curious how they got such an opportunity. If they were gonna play an Ohio team, it shouldve been St. Xavier or Colerain, or St Edwards or Wayne or some school like that

It was on espn.. as I typed it.. and they are in/near Canton, Ohio.. the NFL hall of fame has a sign right outside of the stadium they kept showing on the tv..

Ha! So apparently bishop sycamore bullshitted espn about having a bunch of players being recruited by Div I schools in order to get the game aired

Haha... Yeah. Like I said, I've never heard of them. All the other top Ohio programs, definitely. IMG would still probably win, but it wouldn't be that ugly.

How about the one in Cincy?

@Thiefery might find it interesting that Jenks(Tulsa) beat top 10 Texas Mansfield Summit 20-14 this weekend.

#1 ranked in Texas, Duncanville got absolutely embarrassed by Raleek Brown and Mater Dei as well. 45-3

which one? St Xavier and Colerain are both in Cincy, not to mention schools like Winton Woods, Elder, etc.

Hell, I'd forgotten Bishop Sycamore even had a football team, I'm pretty sure they're a relatively new charter school in the area.

I can't say I blame you, just saw this

This team also somehow played a western PA team just two days prior.

EDIT: :ninja:
