I'll admit, I almost ranked Iowa at #25 as being the only 4-loss team ranked (I ranked all the 3-loss or less P5 teams). But I figured a 2-loss Sun Belt team deserved it.

I ranked 4 loss Minnesota and Texas (a coin flip between Minnesota and Iowa).

You have #5 Clemson and #7 Clemson

You have #18 UCLA and #21 UCLA

:puzzled:

Yes. Tennessee won 40-14 at LSU. However, since then, LSU has won 5 straight, with wins including Ole Miss and Alabama. Tennessee beat Alabama, but their loss to South Carolina really hurt - especially when they lost 63-38.

You do know they played each other a day ago, right? I have a hard time really picking one of the 4-loss teams that I can say truly deserve to be ranked. Iowa really doesn't with their loss against Iowa State.

The B1G West is fill with parity ... take Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, Purdue or Wisconsin for granted and you will pay. We (Michigan) didn't take Illinois for granted and we still almost ended up on the wrong side of the scoreboard.

Thank you ... I fixed it.

We don't deserve to be ahead of LSU or Alabama with the way the team played last night. Not to mention Hooker is done for the season.

I hear what you are saying. Where do you think the Vols should be ranked?

I’m genuinely interested to know what in the blue hell is possessing you guys to give UNC such a high ranking.

:doobs:

I put them at 14.
I think that is fair. AP voters have them at #9 but voters have a tendency to "not look like at a girl without her makeup on". Along with your Vols, several teams seem to be trending the wrong direction.

While I'm an old fart and therefore a "traditionalist" because of age, I'm not in regards to CFB playoffs. I like the hoops model where a team can get hot (aka "trend") at the end of the season after struggling early. Other feel teams like that should not be considered in order to "protect the regular season'.

I think the issue is that they have wins over Alabama and LSU and same number of losses so people are hesitant to put them below those teams since they have head to head.

I want to see what Tennessee looks like Saturday. It is definitely a game they can lose after the way things went down this past weekend.

Yeah, if they have their dauber down it might not be good. One down side to the CFP is once teams that had a CFP shot are eliminated, they seem to take the "we don't have anything left to play for" mentality. At least some of them do. Hard to convince them 11-2 is a pretty damn good year if they'll just finish it off. The opposite seems to happen too. If they are eliminated early, some seem to take the "screw it" attitude and start playing some damn good football after that. LSU seems to have done that even though they might still have a CFP shot.
