I have a scramble today then heading to NJ for my nephew's birthday
 
morning all, lawn bowling team I subbed on won, I contributed. It's a more competitive league where they follow all the rules, so yeah.

I got partnered with some geriatric dude drinking coffee. OH well

No big plans for the weekened, looks like rain
 
Waiting for repairman from Samsung to get here and repair the dishwasher. Took truck through the carwash last night because its too hot to wash by hand. I'll detail it in the garage

Youngest turned 21 yesterday. Throwing a party at my house tomorrow. She wanted a mechanical bull, so that's happening.

Should be fun, but I think the wife and I may get a hotel room for later and give my daughter and her friends the house after a while.

Kind of proud that she would rather just have a party here, than go out clubbing.
 
Repair guy quotes $345+ for a control board for the dishwasher. I can get the thing for $145 and replace it myself. Looks like an addition to the honey do list

My youngest turns 21 in a couple months. We've allowed her to drink alcohol in our house and she's not into it much; she'd rather just make herself some tea. I'm cool with that.

And be careful with that "give my daughter and her friends the house" concept; if she's hosting under-21 friends it could end up being your ass.

Meh. Her friends are all either 21 or 20, and are college kids that already seasoned vets. Most of them would rather smoke weed than drink. They'll be fine
