I'd rather drop a mill on a tiny home in Florida than a closet in some tenement in [insert frozen city in the North here]

A lot of my family lives in Arizona and they said a one bedroom apartment right now costs $1200 per month.

That's absurd. I don't even get how they are expecting new tenants to pay that.

That's more than what I pay for a 3 BR house on 2 acres of serene countryside.

Yeah I googled it and it looked legit. I found like a 1 bedroom house in AZ for 850, but only that ONE and all the apartments were like 1200+.

That's more than my mortgage. Luckily apartments haven't been impacted like that around here. You can still find a one bedroom for like 6-700
