Are there less actual bowl games now that there are 11 playoff games* to hash out? We have to lose at least 4 lesser bowl games....right?

Does this latest adventure fuck up some bowl tie-ins?

I have questions....

* I'm assuming top 4 seeds get byes, remaining 8 teams play-in to face the 4 byes...right? 4/4/2/1

I tried to massage that shit....but board only allows 10 minutes to edit. lel

Imagine how bad the already bad bowls are going to be now that the 12 team playoff starts earlier

That would be great. Would love to see an SEC team have to play in the northern parts of the country in late Dec
yeah first rd is at the higher seeds stadium

The part im not a fan of is the 5-12 game losers final games of the season are simply either a home loss or an away game loss that could be played in places like Manhattan Kansas or Columbia Missouri.

looks like 35 bowls besides the playoff. so need 70 bowl eligible teams beyond the 12 play off teams. total of 82. last year there were 81 and army was as well but after the cut off so they didn't get a bowl even though they were 6-6. 2 teams that were ineligible due to transition were allowed to play due to not enough teams for bowls.

We all know what this means: more scheduling of FCS teams

Wait a minute, do we still call that one FCS and the other one FBS, if they both have a multi-round playoff?

They should just do away with the majority of them, anyway. Take who you want.

It looks like the four quarterfinal games will still be Peach, Fiesta, Rose and Sugar, and the semis will be Cotton and Orange. Don't like that some teams will play a day later than others, but there seems to be enough time in between rounds that one day won't matter much in the end.
