The Oregon Ducks will host the fuskies this Saturday at Autzen Stadium.

Annual reminder to go to your local animal shelter, look to see if there is a Husky for adoption, play ball with it, have fun with it, then leave it at the shelter and move on.

Are hatcheries in the area having a duckling sale or is it save the ducklings week? If you buy some just be careful they don't Nix your order and come up short.

Or they could just BlOw it

@Wizardhawk obviously that 3rd down play where Washington baited Nix into the QB draw was the play of the game on so many levels. Props for execution on that one.

1 out of 79 ain't bad?

What does the local media think of going for it on 4th and 5 in a tied game?

I don't live in Western Oregon, so couldn't tell you. I think the play where the backup duck qb Thompson was in was 4th and 2. Not sure if you are referencing a different 4th down.

Yeah, you'll excuse me for getting that wrong. Still, a backup QB on a 4th down play on their own side of the field turned out to be the final nail in that game. Easy to say it was a bad call after it failed, just wondering what you fans thought of it.

I have no doubt that Washington scores on a punt anyway. Oregon had no answers for the pass game.

Both defenses were terrible. I still don't see putting that pressure on a backup QB with the game on the line and risk giving UW a short field. I mean they didn't get many yards before that very long FG try. I don't think it's a gimmie they run the length of the field after a punt.

FWIW, I think theres a decent chance he gets there on 4th down if he doesnt fall down. That's not really on Ty.

Fair enough. UW wasn't doing much to stop the run as it was. Ducks had over 300y rushing.

That said, it looked like 2 UW players had jumped in and had a chance to blow it up even if he doesn't slip.

then there's this
