Lately I've been landing King Mackerel and Spanish Mackerel. Neither are worth eating but a lot of fun to catch. Flounder season just opened and Albacore are supposed to migrate here in about a month.

Looking forward to it.

There’s a flounder season? And Kings aren’t bad eating.

Kings are greasy.

In North Carolina they are restricting Flounder fishing to just 6 weeks and they have to be 15” or bigger to keep. Evidently commercial fishing is hitting the fisheries hard. They need more restrictions like they have in SC, GA, AL and TX.
