I want to hear the view points of Missouri and Texas A&M

Like all good little beta's, they once ridiculed and now follow.

Also, it isn't A&M's league...yet

They shouldn't care by now. Texas won't be any better than either of them once they start playing an SEC schedule every season.

from the outside looking in... I think aggy finally got an identity that it wanted when it left the Big12 and UT. They sold themselves in the state as being the flagship school in the SEC.. and it helped them recruiting wise. To me, they finally have a game on it's schedule which there is huge pressure not to lose..

I still feel Mizzu doesn't belong and they were just the better of traveling partners to join aggy. In their hearts of hearts, they want to be in the BiG, they were the ones who were contacting them wanting to know if they'd have them..just for Nebraska to backdoor them.

and Nebraska wanted to stay in the Big XII but Texas was too busy leading the Pac on.

If they don’t like it, then the Big12 is waiting with open arms so, Dey gots options…

To be fair, the vibe that I get from most Missouri fans is that they joined the SEC more to get stability than out of any antagonism towards former Big12 teams so they seem pretty cool with it.

Aggie on the other hand... to be fair, I think Aggie is secretly happy to get their rival back. It gives them purpose again.

I get the vibe too that Missouri is just happy to not be left behind. They more jump because of the instability. This is why I never understood the Jayhawk hatred toward Missouri for leaving because Missouri didn't have anything against Kansas, they left to just find a safe home. Can't blame them for that.

I can tell you what Missouri fans think.
They are angry as hell.

But to be fair, they are angry all the time about everything.

Carry On

They are going to be your end-of-the-year rival. Book it. It will either be them or Arkansas.

And that is completely fucked up.
Yeah, lets bring Oklahoma over and let them play games nobody wants to watch. That will maximize eyeballs dollars.

We kicked Missouri around for years and nobody wants to watch that anymore.

I'd rather have Arkansas or LSU, or literally anybody else.

I wonder how that final weekend will look like..UT vs aggy on Thanksgiving.. Egg bowl.. Iron bowl.. Arkansas and LSU play that weekend...and ou plays mizzu?

It will definitely be UT Austin and Aggie. I am thinking OU and Missouri unless OU can go grab an OOC series with Oklahoma State. Arkansas has outside chance of playing OU as well although I could see Arkansas-LSU like you point out.

BTW, @outofyourmind our end of year game is Vanderbilt if it makes you feel any better.

I think Missouri could be competitive with you guys at times (especially if you have down years).

Well sure, it's been that way forever.
I just don't see people rushing to see that matchup.

Good question on who does OU play during Thanksgiving week. I get the feeling Bedlam is going to disappear.

Maybe they can do an OOC with Nebraska that week. That's be cooler than anything else the BIG could schedule for the Huskers.

True but how is that already different from current state? You have games like Alabama-Auburn, Michigan-Ohio State, Florida-FSU, Clemson-South Carolina, USC-UCLA, etc. that week anyways so it is hard to get attention. Granted some of those games haven't been as interestingly lately like Florida-FSU.

I could see you guys playing on that Friday time slot when no one else is playing similar to Arkansas-Missouri matchup now. So yes you would get more eyeballs in that scenario.
