Instructions From Your SEC Overlords - Portal Protocol

To All Minions:

It is that time of the year when we need to go over Portal protocol. First to remind you that we didn't create the Portal to bring parody to college football we created it so that we could steal your best players every year, after you have developed them, without penalty.

Protocol:
- Your collectives may not collect more than 1mm in NIL for G5 schools and 2.4mm for P5 schools not in the SEC
- You are restricted to 250K in NIL for any one-player
- You may not select an SEC player out of the Portal unless they have played less than 15 snaps the previous year, have an injury that will take greater than 9 months to rehab or an SEC school gives you permission
- SEC schools are immune from the charge of tampering but the rest of you are still subject to it so stick strictly to the rules of our puppet the NCAA

These rules are non-negotiable and if not followed you will be banned from playing in the Play-off (see FSU as an example).

Think of Texas being like Alaska Guy who thought he was the tip of the iceberg over at Rivals and came in assuming he would be a top dog over here.

It was hard when realty hit him in the face and Texas is going to experience the same. I have no doubt they are having discussions about what changes they want but have zero clue no one gives a shit what they want and Miss State has the same pull.

I’ve tried to explain it to the guys here but they all seem to think money and influence will get them preferable treatment but it won’t. Nick Saban can pitch a fit all he wants but he doesn’t get to decide who his permanent opponents are. The conference decides.

Tejas has joined the rebels. they have had practice killing 3 conferences and now are taking on the biggest one yet. they are trying to kill the republic of the $EC

Texas and Oklahoma are going to find out what roster depth really means. Neither of them have been on their 3rd starting tackle after injuries or didn't have a tailback that wasn't 100% on the sidelines. The physical toll is incredible and no one is immune as injuries probably cost Alabama one natty even with their depth.
