Interesting College Football Facts...

In the first college football games under lights, there were light poles one the field and the lights were actually not bright enough to really light up the field. They decided to stop the game early because players kept running into each other and tackling the wrong person (even teammates or referees) thinking they were the ball carrier or they were running into the light poles.
