Interesting fanbase stats

Thanks for posting ... I love numbers. But there is some really stupid shit in there.

Someone tell me which school he went to:

Alabama
Near-religious deference to Coaches
Bryant & Saban by entire population;

Ferociously envious rivals, who are
looked down and upon and shafted
despite being better at many things,
other sports, and academic metrics

Disregard for questions of resource
prioritization despite the obvious;

Opposition to progressive authority;

Devotion to winning over anything;

USC/UCLA:
Glittery Hollywood sunshine inspires
limitless optimism, possibilities, and
sense of entitlement & importance;

Pete Carroll’s contagious grin;
– and / or –
John Wooden’s leadership;

Unlimited winning to rivals’ dismay;

Fans fully lean in to L.A. stereotypes
Epitomizing essence of equality and
progressiveness, flaunted as distant
opponents get throttled

Nonsense.

Their data is bullshit look no further than teams who fill opposing teams stadium. No freaking way Nebraska is lower than Wisconsin.

This looks to be about what I expected

Take a look at the chart titled:
REALIGNMENT EVOLUTION OF THE BIG 12 FAN BASE

If that is accurate, there is no way in hell the Big XII is going to end up with a good TV contract after OU and Texas leave. They will have lost 58% of their fan base since 2010? That is unbelievable.

#3 really boosting profits for Walmart. :pop2:

I think it is less based on fanbase and more on TV market for those contracts. Could be wrong. I think they will get less, not sure it will be half.

These numbers are ridiculous. Look at Syracuse then UGA and try to reconcile that. Look at UF and compare to Bama and UGA ... that's not accurate.

The Big 12's additions were about as good as anyone could have hoped for. That said, they're going to take a big hit in TV revenue soon (relative to the other conferences) IMO. I think the Big 12 will be pretty competitive in the short term but a bad media deal will eventually drag the conference down over time.

They are discounting orphans and homeless.

Wisconsin fills the stadium when they play Illinois...
I'm not saying Wisconsin doesn't travel, but no shot they have more fans than Nebraska. Period. Full stop.

You guys have been losing your bandwagon fans for 25 years. You may be BMOC in Nebraska, but you don't have the t-shirt fans bolstering your numbers. You have quality, not quantity.

We have both, you're just plain wrong. Keep up your wishful thinking
