You’re Having My Baby
Annie’s Song
I Honestly Love You
Hooked on a Feeling
Angie Babe
the Way We Were
Sunshine on my Shoulders

All topped the charts in 74. There’s a lot of songs on the list that I don’t recognize that I’m sure were sissy songs too

I was going to try to refute this, but outside of a few good songs by Lynyrd Skynrd, Doobie Brothers and Bad Company 1974 looks like a pretty shit year.

I’m sure there was a lot of great music, and I’m not a hits or charts guy, but this is more about I’ve never seen a year with more such wussy songs that topped the chart. I mean, no wonder that abomination that is disco took off soon after if this is what was dominating the charts

1999

Baby one more time
Genie in a bottle
I want it that way
Bills Bills Bills
lullaby
I do (cherish you)

The best song that topped the charts in 1974 was “Sundown” by Gordon Lightfoot, and that was far from his best work

You dumbasses completely missed the point of the thread. There’s great music made every year, this thread is about which years has the most 10 ply chart toppers, dunces
