Skipped a mandatory team workout and is left off the Yankees’ postseason roster. I’d say he’s definitely done with the Yankees and he’s been horrible this season, so I’m not sure if he gets more than a minor league offer with an invite to spring training for the Pirates or Royals next season

One of the bigger pieces of trash in the sport, so I hope he’s done

With the Yankees it is.

They were leaving him off the playoff roster anyway. That’s why he didn’t show.

Not a chance somebody else doesn’t take a chance on him. Unless he wants to be done.

Astros will pick him up, they don't mind domestic abusers.

He's got Dodger or Phillie written all over him.

A winter in Toronto with Carlos Beltran's dealer and he gets signed to a 3-yr deal with the Cards and his first pitch of Spring Training is 103mph.

does this mean he will be a Yankee next year?

I shed many tears

Yankees will build a monument for him

not even remotely close to being a HOFer IMO. Wagner has better rate stats (WHIP, ERA, ERA+) while throwing 263 more innings, plus he has 107 more saves. Even by reliever standards he hasn't thrown a lot of innings, only three seasons above 60 innings.

Jim Carrey What GIF

Sometimes the first GIF that comes up is perfect and you just have to post it  :noidea:

Not on here, but I've seen people elsewhere talking about his HOF credentials. I'd imagine this and the DV ruin any hopes of making it past the first ballot.

They are going to have to be very careful with relievers in general I think (but I believe that a lot of voters probably realize this). Once they crack that door open just a little too far there will be a lot of people trying to squeeze through it.

Doubt that he's done, but he won't get closer money next year. Lefties still can't hit him, so he has value there.
