Hopefully the season plays out so we can judge for ourselves.

Brady won a lot of SBs but he's not the GOAT in my opinion. I doubt he'd have been that successful if he hadn't played under Belichick.

Biggest system QB in the history of QBs. Matt Cassel would have led that team to ten rings if Brady didn’t have him run out of town for showing him up.

Not a Brady or Pats fan by any means...but, the dude is legit. The GOAT? I think a lot of sound arguments could be made.

Both but in the sense of the GOAT QB and in a great situation.

Don't think it's right to say he was a system QB. He has had numerous OCs over his career.

Right, how about great QB, great coach = 6 rings

It's not either or.

As far as GOAT discussions, they don't mean much in factual terms. It's all opinion. All we can really say for sure is there have been a handful of legendary top level QBs. You can't directly compare them, especially in a game like football, which is the ultimate team sport. Great QB, bad OL, bad WRs...not much. Decent QB, great OL, great WRs...great stats he must be GOAT. They all played in different eras under different coaches with different teammates.

So really I would say Montana, Brady, Manning, Unitas, Marino, Rodgers, Elway, Young, maybe one or two others are the top level. No way to really differentiate the "best".

cheated
played in an easy division
played for maybe GOAT coach

His entire career:
Greatest owner ever
Greatest coach ever
Greatest system ever
League-best OL
League-best receiving corps

...and he was the media darling of the world who could do no wrong.

"Tom Brady can do it all by himself!" - when the Pats won
"Tom Brady can't do it all by himself!" - when the Pats lost

Most amazing thing I've ever witnessed in sports and easily the most overrated athlete of our generation.

probably the most coddled "superstar" in sports history

GOAT debates in team-oriented sports always amuse me

You forgot the Tuck rule and using the AFC West like a roll of toilet paper.

Also bailed out by his kicker several times in the Super Bowls
