I don't know if I'll ever not laugh at Milton just running out of bounds to end the game without any attempt to pass/lateral the ball or simply get tackled in bounds.

Milton was channeling the 1975 Tennessee Volunteers vs North Texas State, specifically QB Gary Roach, who with no time left, threw the ball out of bounds to stop the clock...

I feel like that’s died down compared to the Texas hype with el jex predicting preseason Texas makes the playoff and now proclaiming Texas will win out every week and the absent thiefy preseason saying Texas would win the B12.

I can't imagine UM being overconfident after hiring Brady Hoke. :pound:

The Harbaugh hire, I can definitely see them being overconfident, as that is about the best hire they could have possibly made at the time, but even that didn't do much at all for them.

Hoke was a midwest recruiter -- I doubt he was heading the pitch to recruit a california kid. But again -- i've met a million clueless UM fans, so wouldn't surprise me if someone was saying that.

Die hard UM fans definitely weren't excited about Hoke. Harbaugh though is a different story.

All the Michigan fans around me were going crazy about Hoke. Then he had that first good year and the hype went even crazier.
