Yeah, maybe back in the Vince Lombardi days that stuff might fly. Players nowadays are pampered millionaires who hold more power than coaches. If one prominent player complains about Joe Judge, It's a good bet John Mara pulls Judge into his office and tells him to cool it or he's fired.

And to my point, you represent the millenial mentality that most players will have. Joe Judge isn't even 40 years old yet, so I don't know why he thinks he's got the power to treat millionaire celebrity athletes like middle school kids, but if he continues to do so it will blow up in his face. And I think most of us here are hoping it happens because this drama is going to be better entertainment than what the Giants are going to put on the football field.

Apparently Judge decided that Benjamin needed to be 251 to be "fit" enough to be a tight end (Benjamin played WR at almost 270). Benjamin passed his physicals and conditioning tests and was cut after the first day of practice for protesting being fined for being overweight.
