Sent his whole defense to run a lap yesterday, and today, after a brawl broke out, he had them doing gassers and pushups, then lit into them for about 5 minutes afterward.

Goddamn it, they should have been on Hard Knocks.

100 yards sprints and non-stop pushups?

Sounds like youth football.

Where is the video of him losing his fucking mind and the team in a full out brawl with themselves?

the idea of making grown ass men run laps + do pushups is hilarious

Yeah, he won’t last long. Every player he’s making run laps and do push-ups could kick his ass and most are making more money than he is. The players won’t stand for that too long

Yeah, maybe back in the Vince Lombardi days that stuff might fly. Players nowadays are pampered millionaires who hold more power than coaches. If one prominent player complains about Joe Judge, It's a good bet John Mara pulls Judge into his office and tells him to cool it or he's fired.

I’m not pampered and I’m not a millionaire, but I’m gonna have issues if my boss talks to me that way. One of us will have a whipped ass and both probably fired due to the zero tolerance fighting policy

LOL @ a LB retiring instead of running laps. :L

And to my point, you represent the millenial mentality that most players will have. Joe Judge isn't even 40 years old yet, so I don't know why he thinks he's got the power to treat millionaire celebrity athletes like middle school kids, but if he continues to do so it will blow up in his face. And I think most of us here are hoping it happens because this drama is going to be better entertainment than what the Giants are going to put on the football field.

Didn't realize this, but Gettleman also talked Kelvin Benjamin back into playing football for the Giants this spring, wanting him to play TE. Apparently Judge decided that Benjamin needed to be 251 to be "fit" enough to be a tight end (Benjamin played WR at almost 270). Benjamin passed his physicals and conditioning tests and was cut after the first day of practice for protesting being fined for being overweight.

Meanwhile, there's video all over Twitter of JT Ibe decapitating Keith Kirkwood, which sent Kirkwood to the hospital and Ibe to the free agent list.

The Giants' beat writers suck.

Dude hasn't played in 3 years. He should be happy he even got a shot.

I love how football players are crying about sprints. Retiring on the spot. Awesome.

Getting bag skated or line rushes (the equivalent to sprints) is essentially an accepted "thing" in hockey.
