It's that dead period between spring ball and when the season starts, these people are begging for clicks and "look at this" ranking lists are the lowest of hanging fruit to get that.
 
It looks about right to me. We are going to suck this year. Candidly, we shouldn't even be in the top 20.
 
Michigan just needs a QB and we're back in business. Without a QB, I suspect we're about where we were last year.
 
I like Clemson but that defense still has the biggest questions.. they could not stop the run a season ago.. But all the hype is on Klubs and that young WR corps that were hitting a stride late in the season.

I personally would have Clemson as a top 4/5 team heading into the season.. this thing is wide open

There's some cautious optimism with the defense. They couldn't tackle worth shit last season and were late to their gaps. But the optimism comes from the new DC. Its funny hearing all the players comment on how much more intense the practices were this spring. They have good players so there's no reason for the defense to not be at least solid.

1 is pretty aggressive, but I do think they are an improvement over last season.

There's a more than 50% chance I will put an irresponsible amount of money on Clemson to win the ACC and make it to not only the CFP, but the Final Four.
