Julian Fleming ATV accident

Just read an article about the ATV accident former Ohio and Penn State WR Julian Fleming was in. Hopefully he recovers from his injuries, but his girlfriend died in the ATV accident.

Article stated they were riding the ATV down a rural road near his home in PA and a deer ran out in front of them and they hit the deer causing the accident. His girlfriend died on the scene.

Saw this too....I'm not sure I've ever seen a college athlete with worse luck than Julian Fleming (discounting the ones that brought that luck upon themselves)

It is just unreal. Turned my stomach reading the article. Imagine being 23 riding an ATV with your girlfriend and a random deer runs in front of you and your life is changed forever. Even if he completely heals from his own injuries, the person guilt and sadness he will feel for the rest of his life will be so tough to deal with.

Yep. And all the comments about how neither one of them were wearing protective gear. I rode when I was younger all the time. I think I can count on one hand the amount of times I put on a helmet

Yeah -- I've ridden ATV 100 times and never once did I wear a helmet. I take it back -- I wore it once when we are going to be going over hills and getting some air.

Hopefully he makes a full recovery and that poor girl's family finds some peace.

We got a lot of deer that often cross a major state highway here, and driving on that highway elevates my anxiety.

Very sad to hear. Sounds like a freak accident
