Julio Jones to Titans

I had a pipe dream that he's go to the Packers.

Silly pipe dream.

He's had injury problems his whole career and is on the wrong side of 30.

Wish the Falcons would trade Matt Ryan too.

Yeah, but could you imagine Adams on one side and Jones on the other? Good luck, safeties.

Rodgers would HAVE to come back with a smile.

I think, to his point, how many games would Jones and Adams be starting on each side? Adams is one of the best IMO, but even he misses at least a few games a year. How many might Julio legit miss as the seasons continue to rack up?

The 6 years prior to last season were pretty solid for him, playing 92 out of a possible 96 games. I don't remember why he only played 9 games last year and I do agree that he is on the wrong side of 30, but he might have 3 or 4 really good seasons left if he's motivated to stay in shape and accepts that he is not going to see 10 targets a game.

Like I said. It was a silly pipe dream.

But even if they both played 15 games, I don't know how the Packers lose.

Called it.
I called it for you.

Post #9 in your thread, Nostradamus.

Weird to see people talk sports here...

I'm pretty happy with this as Titans fan. Falcons wanted a 1st round pick for Jones and we got it down to a 2nd next year and 4th in 2023. For Julio, I'd take that deal all day long. Their biggest problem is still defense which could stop shit last year so we'll see if some of the moves made this offseason help out some (Bud Dupree, Denico Autry, drafted Farley and Molden etc), but for the other side of the ball, its a great deal. It'll help alleviate the losses of Jonnu Smith and Corey Davis. Because before this trade, that passing game was gonna be one dimensional with just AJ Brown out there. Josh Reynolds is a decent piece, but he's not good enough to where coverages have to respect a great deal. You gotta pay attention to Julio.

You can chase a bag or chase rings I guess?

Bags don’t always = more rings, but rings usually = more bags.

Titans getting him for a second and fourth. Good on them for getting that.

Wow this popped up suddenly. wasn't expecting it on a Tuesday. TEN gets Julio + '23 6th and ATL gets a '22 2nd and 4th.

That's a freaking STEAL. I know TEN now has no cap space left but holy crap do they have an offense for 6 games a year...which is all Julio is ever healthy for.
