Probably overkill at this point, but I've got 4 ACs running now. Our room, Tank's room, big one in the kitchen to try and get the living room cooler too. Put one in the basement so my office won't be too hot either. Will probably run the basement one minimally. Hopefully once we get the house cooler, we won't need to run the units so much. Would have been a lot nicer if we knew we had to do this yesterday morning when we first called the AC company.

Yes. Biggest problem is that the compressor fan doesn't stay on. It occasionally turns on for like 5 seconds or so.

Some cold air and the compressor unit itself was hot. Fan sometimes makes a noise that sounds like a hose is running.

Could be a weak contact in one leg of the circuit, or the fan motor is shot, or both. Any black, or arc marks on the contact switch, on any terminal?
