Kinda surprised to see figure skating, boxing and table tennis aren't NCAA sports.

boxing was from 32 to 60. declining numbers through the 50s and then a boxer died in the 60 championship.
the one i was surprised by was that NCAA sponsors womens rowing but not mens.

maybe but title IX is to make sure opportunities are there. it really has nothing to do with the NCAA.
ncaa could still sponsor mens without it taking away from womens. they also sponsor bowling for women but not men.
some schools have sports for one but not the other anyway. like Oregon State has womens cross country and track but no mens teams
