I think he meant it sucks to be a member of the Chicago Bears.“So, Mr. Fields, it’s my understanding that you have a very strong dislike for *anything* green & yellow, *anyone* wearing a block of cheese on their head and the town of Green Bay, WI. Is that correct?”
Maybe nightmare?I’m not sure “dream” was the correct word choice.
I fucking hate you, but only for being right.Somehow he gets to be in the only place worse for QBs.
Just noticed in the OP pic that his hands/fingers look kinda stubby. Windup + stubby hands + Chicago weather = Elevated probability of turnovers that increases as the weather gets colder. He had 12 fumbles and 10 interceptions in 10 starts last year and he didn't play in 5 of the last 7 games of the season.Ugh at dat windup.
Chicago fans will tell you it's because our o-line is just the worst.Just noticed in the OP pic that his hands/fingers look kinda stubby. I'm never a fan of starting a rookie QB... especially one who needs some development & adjustments... and doubly-especially one who is lining up behind a garbage OL. The NFL game moves too fast. Yeah, playing them builds experience, but can (and often does) also shatter their confidence.Chicago fans will tell you it's because our o-line is just the worst.
Truth is, he didn't trust the plays, didn't trust the players and held the ball for an eternity.
The kid has a lot athletic talent, and hopefully the new regime can de-Nagy him, but there are serious doubts from this fan. His windup mechanics are godawful, tho I presume(hope) they are working on that.
A rookie QB needs to sit and learn behind a veteran.I'm never a fan of starting a rookie QB... especially one who needs some development & adjustments... and doubly-especially one who is lining up behind a garbage OL. If I was a Bears fan, I'd definitely be concerned about his confidence, his mechanics and his turnover probability. I'd also be concerned about his long-term viability. He gets comps to guys like Lamar Jackson and Mike Vick, but guys like that who rely heavily on their legs become a liability after the inevitable injury takes away their greatest strengths.

I wonder if his Grandpa was a Michigan fan.
