Kentucky Derby winner fails drug test

In 2019 we had a little pool going at the bar for the derby and two of my buddies had picked Maximum Security so the bartender paid them ( nothing major, $100 ea or something like that) after the race and they left.

Then we all watched the race get contested and the winner DQ'd. I don't remember who would have actually won the money or if they were even still at the bar 45 minutes later when the decision came down, but my buddies still get a chuckle out of winning the money.

Yeah, I get that. We didn't make any changes that day either and it was only 45 minutes or something like that.
 
:puzzled:wow, betamethasone can get a horse disqualified? i'm pretty sure that's prescribed to people to treat stuff like eczema and psoriasis...i guess it somehow gives a horse a competitive advantage??:shrug:
 
The horse checked into rehab and will be interviewed by Oprah.
