And if you’re trying to appeal to a specific demographic, going out of your way to try to get canceled may actually give you a career boost, which I suspect is Bob’s real intention here.

this kind of goes to Trump's statement about how he could shoot someone on Fifth Ave and not lose any voters.

that says more about his supporters than it does him...either that they are loyal far beyond a reasonable point or that they just don't know when to walk away...or both.

With Kid Rock...he isn't really relevant but I bet his shows still get a crowd...and that crowd is still going to show up.

Kind of like Louis CK...I have a friend who still goes to see him to stand up after all that shit went down...she just likes him that much.
 
I got dragged to a Kid Rock concert like 10 years ago. Reluctantly agreed to it because Jamey Johnson was the opening act. Still not a fan, but have admit, he did put on a good show even though Jamey Johnson by far outshined him
