While pretty much everything is set to change over the next five years, Knox Kiffin has his sights set on four* SEC programs and one Pac-12 school. Florida, Georgia, Texas (*which will join the SEC in two years), Oregon and Ole Miss have the upper hand for the son of college football’s most polarizing head coach.

Saban is having a bad week being turned down by an offensive coordinator and a 13-year-old recruit.

A 5'7" 13 year old is putting out a top 5 of schools who haven't even offered him and this is supposed to be a dig at Alabama?

you hate top 50 edits.. now you hate top 5 edits..

I hate to say it, but the last time that I looked, Alabama was bringing in one of its best classes ever. I get a vibe Alabama maybe righting the ship for 2023.

You could say that. They are the 1st team in NCAA history to sign 9 five star recruits in a single class. I think they will be just fine.

lol.. everyone was slobbering over their '21 class too.. let's just wait to see how it turns out before getting on your knees for Nick

I couldn't care less about "Nick" or Alabama. Just pointed out a fact.

And I'm not sure what Bama has done to not be talked about among the elite?!? The last time they have lost 3 games in a season was 2010. The last time they lost a bowl game that wasn't for the national championship was 2014.

It is Georgia and Bama right now, then a big drop and everyone else.

they finished behind LSU and TN too...

I'm talking the state of programs, not a single year. Using your logic, Texas is right there with Alabama because they played a close game with them or Missouri is right there with Georgia, because they played a close game with them.

lol love how you bring my Longhorns in it.. Bro Saban just had attrition from it's vaunted '21 class. He just had both coordinators move on or get canned, however you choose to call it.

Last season they had an all everything QB who i believe was the BEST QB in the country.. Now they have Jalen Milroe, who was an all star vs aggy last year in his start (sarcasm, btw).. have Ty Simpson to be the one to challenge him?

But yes their 9 5 star players will fill in the gaps and they will be a wrecking ball this coming season.. Is that really bad logic?

When a team has gone 10+ years without losing more than 2 games and that same teams hasn't lost a bowl game that wasn't for the national championship in 8 years -- YES, signing more five star recruits in a single class in NCAA history says they aren't going anywhere.
You are talking as if Bama going 12-2 was a failure of a season. It is only looked down on by Bama, because they have set their bar unbelievably high.

And I brought up Texas, because I think, as a fan of Texas, you are so used to seeing extremely talented teams fall on their face, you seem to think it is the norm. It isn't. Bama will be one of the handful of teams with a legit shot to win a title next year, because teams like Bama don't rebuild, they reload (as in sign 9 five star recruits in a single recruiting class)

How does Bama have a legit chance at a title next season when they couldn't make it last season with a returning Hesiman QB? Their best player on offense besides that QB was a running back who he threw to on crucial downs.. who btw isn't returning..

They had supposedly the best set of rushers last season.. and they didn't deliver.. So excuse me for not thinking they are a threat next season when their best defensive player that everyone was fawning over last summer isn't returning, nor is their QB, RB.. but I'm sure they will have a WR who steps up unlike last season..or the season before (minus Meche).. oh maybe McClellan picks up where Gibbs left off? Milroe can be a plug and play QB.. and the OL that took off in the portal where just jags (even though they started) and the new guys will be an immediate improvement..

I'm sure Saban will add his magic dust to the heads of Kevin Steele and Tommy Reese or whatever the new OC name is.

Sure they probably are better than UT.. but you thinking its just them and UGA is something else

Sorry -- I had to laugh from that last line where you said, they "probably are better than UT". Alabama has finished 5, 2, 1, 7, 2, 1, 2, 1, 4, 7, 1, 1, 10, 1, 6, in the last 15 years. Last year, when you talk how Bama didn't deliver -- they finished 5th in nation in the final poll.

There is no probably -- Until proven otherwise -- it will always be Bama and now Georgia at the top of the heap. The fact Bama pulled in the recruiting class they just did should tell you, they aren't going anywhere.h

And in case you missed it. Teams like Bama, like Georgia, like Ohio State are losing elite NFL talent every year. They don't drop at all in their level of play, because they have top recruits waiting in the wings. Georgia lost almost their entire defense from their 1st national title, they repeated. Ohio State lost not one, but two 1st round NFL WR's in Olave and Garrett Wilson -- then they lost the #1 WR in CFB the 1st game -- they STILL had the best WR group in college football.

Who is the team you see winning a title next year? Ohio State with a brand new QB? Clemson without Myles Murphy and Bryan Bresee and a new QB? Who will it be? FSU? LSU? USC with their defense is optional approach?
