How does Bama have a legit chance at a title next season when they couldn't make it last season with a returning Hesiman QB? Their best player on offense besides that QB was a running back who he threw to on crucial downs.. who btw isn't returning..
They had supposedly the best set of rushers last season.. and they didn't deliver.. So excuse me for not thinking they are a threat next season when their best defensive player that everyone was fawning over last summer isn't returning, nor is their QB, RB.. but I'm sure they will have a WR who steps up unlike last season..or the season before (minus Meche).. oh maybe McClellan picks up where Gibbs left off? Milroe can be a plug and play QB.. and the OL that took off in the portal where just jags (even though they started) and the new guys will be an immediate improvement..
I'm sure Saban will add his magic dust to the heads of Kevin Steele and Tommy Reese or whatever the new OC name is.
Sure they probably are better than UT.. but you thinking its just them and UGA is something else
Sorry -- I had to laugh from that last line where you said, they "probably are better than UT". Alabama has finished 5, 2, 1, 7, 2, 1, 2, 1, 4, 7, 1, 1, 10, 1, 6, in the last 15 years. Last year, when you talk how Bama didn't deliver -- they finished 5th in nation in the final poll.
There is no probably -- Until proven otherwise -- it will always be Bama and now Georgia at the top of the heap. The fact Bama pulled in the recruiting class they just did should tell you, they aren't going anywhere.h
And in case you missed it. Teams like Bama, like Georgia, like Ohio State are losing elite NFL talent every year. They don't drop at all in their level of play, because they have top recruits waiting in the wings. Georgia lost almost their entire defense from their 1st national title, they repeated. Ohio State lost not one, but two 1st round NFL WR's in Olave and Garrett Wilson -- then they lost the #1 WR in CFB the 1st game -- they STILL had the best WR group in college football.
Who is the team you see winning a title next year? Ohio State with a brand new QB? Clemson without Myles Murphy and Bryan Bresee and a new QB? Who will it be? FSU? LSU? USC with their defense is optional approach?
