Is a landscaping service worth it? I don't know for me if it is one of those things where it's too much pride to hire yardwork out, but at the same time the thought of not mowing the yard and dealing with allergies is a bit appealing. Also I've seen some work by some companies and they do a really good job, it would be nice to know your yard is taken care of properly. But along with the self pride, these services a bit spendy and I just don't know if it's worth getting one. I am also curious if they offer only a 8 month service or if you have to buy a years worth at a time. Having them for the Spring, Summer and in the Fall to get the leaves would be great.

I have a great lawn service company. It's money well spent.

I just started with lawn service this year. It was just for a month and a half at the end of the season but I may go back next year. I also have allergies so it was nice not dealing with that.

I had lawn service once (that wasn't part of hoa) it wasn't worth it for not being required and I enjoy doing my own lawn work pride and accomplishment. If it's how you don't have any say so meh

Four times in the summer months. They also have a gutter cleaning, snow removal and Christmas decoration service.
This I have made a promise to myself that I will hang my own christmas lights until I become physically unable to climb a ladder.

Take your chances.

I pay tru green to fertilize that shit. That's the only thing I truly despise doing. That and fucking weedeating. Fuck that shit, I will design my entire yard around the idea of not having to weedeat.

Install artificial turf.

My neighbor used to pay a guy $15 a week to pick up his dog shit. I always wondered how many felonies that guy must have where his only job option in life is guy who picks up dog shit for $15 a week.

Own a dog, clean up his shit yourself.

Your neighbor is a morally reprehensible douchebag.

I do a perimeter of grass and weed killer along the edges of my yard, particularly along a brick border that goes around 80% of it. I even do it around my sprinkler heads. Might have to weed eat a couple times all summer.

We call that the Farmer's Weedeater

Makes me kind of admire him, that he didnt continue to commit felonies, and has accepted his limitations, and decided to work through it.
