Lee retiring

Outside of Aaron Rodgers Lee might just might be the most overrated NFL football player since Joe Namath....... with donkey mouth Shannon Sharpe running a close 2nd.

This close to the draft is just mean. Now Philly is going to trade up in the draft to take a MLB because "Dallas is in position of need and we need to outsmart em" again. :dhd:
I can only hope.

No, just gets his ass kissed by commentators more. Rodgers can at least back up his resume with a Super Bowl and multiple MVP awards.

As much as I hate Rodgers fucking guts, you must be stupid Rex. He is also reliable as can be for the most part.

With as much ass kissing of AArod you would think he would have led his team to many many SB wins.

After Brady and Mahomes, there’s only so much ass-kissing to go around. No pro sport idolizes individual players more than the NFL and historically no team more than the Cowboys.

I’ve got nothing against Lee personally, just that even in his prime, there were at least a half dozen LBs as good as him and yet the puffery was always heaped on him because he played for Dallas.

Dallas hasn't won a SB in almost 30 years and the Packers STILL can't catch us. And that's with "the greatest passer of all time*" according some fans and media.

damn shame. :dhd:

Can't catch what? Dallas's playoff woes aren't something to be proud of. If it weren't for Jim Irsay, Dan Snyder and James Dolan, Jerruh Jones would be the worst owner in all of sports. The "America's Team" moniker is a joke that's worn thin about a decade ago, at least.

Just nice to have someone to point to, who everyone agreed was the MVP and won something. Not just someone that Phil Simms and Moose Johnston lavish praise on, for the inexplicable 3-4 nationally televised games Dallas still manages to get annually.

5 Packer namesakes to your less than 5. Jerry won the same number of Lombardi's as your franchise has in its existence.

You sure are worked up over Phil and Moose :pound: No one talks about Lee in close to the same light as Rodgers, but your rustled jimmies are hanging out for all to see.

Jerry's successes are all tied to a single trade, shortly after he inherited the team. Since then, it's been... crickets.

Where are you getting that I'm some huge Rodgers fan? The guy's a top-10 QB, and belongs in the pantheon of great QBs (or at least great Packers QBs- also a notable list). Sean Lee was good, but not the greatest at his position when he played, let alone all-time. No one's looking to give him an MVP or put him in the HoF.

And whether you're a fan of Dallas or not, it's gotta grate on you that the team sucks, and yet still broadcasters are gushing over the team. It's like when the team got its shiny new stadium with its big, stupidly huge jumbotron, and a punter bounces a kick off of it in the very first game.

The day I give a single shit about what a broadcaster says is the day I swallow a bullet.

But I do love how much everything about Dallas triggers you. Looks like an inferiority complex to me.

LOL. Dallas is the biggest inferiority complex in the NFL right now. Looking back at Super Bowls multiple decades ago as a sign of success is about the most pathetic thing ever. Looking at Troy Aikman, even HE looks depressed at having to cover Cowboys games.

I'm just kidding with you. Not really, but really- Dallas kinda sucks.

I'm not looking back at trophies as a sign of current success, I'm pointing out that Jerry has won them.
