Which is better?

Both are great, I prefer Snatch of the two, has better/funnier dialogue from a lot of different characters.

Sol/Vinny/Tyrone interactions
Turkish/Tommy bickering
Bricktop in every scene he's in
Bullet Tooth Tony, especially the bar scene.
And Brad Pitt was phenomenal. Having lived in the UK, he has the Pikey accent etc down pat.

I'd agree with Snatch.

I remember putting it on with friends who are a little churchy forgetting that they drop the f-bomb so frequently. Needless to say we did not finish the movie that night.

I need to go back and watch Layer Cake...I have tried a couple times to start it but I have not finished it.

I need to rewatch both, classics

Lock-Stock was the best Guy Ritchie movie until the Sherlock Holmes stuff. It was a little unpolished, but very good. Both movies did feature Jason Statham before he turned into a 3rd rate Van Damme clone.

you think the Sherlock Holmes movies were better than Snatch?

I am wrapping up the last episode of season 1 of Mobland tonight and I have been loving it.

Did Guy Ritchie do The Gentlemen series too, or just the movie?

Plotwise, yeah. Between the two of them, you pretty much get one good movie.

1 Main characters
2 Neighbor gangsters
3 Hatchet Harry & Barry the Baptist
4 Buffoon thieves
5 Nick the Greek
6 Sting and right-hand man
7 Rory Breaker & crew
8 Big and Little Chris
9 Marijuana growers

Lock Stock takes all those different character sets and weaves them into an airtight plot. It’s genius. On top of that, it has consistent character motivations, slick dialog, stand-out characterization, loads of style, a great soundtrack, and perfect pacing.
