YesDo the new people in the conference have to start busting on Nebraska now too?
Asking for a friend.
They have to stop living in 1997, claiming they would have beat the Unbeaten 1997 Michigan Wolverines (that is a Bidenlike claim) is not an attractive recruiting motto. 2016 (their last Bowl Season), Nebraska was 1-4 against ranked teams and they dodged Michigan, Michigan State and Penn State. The kids coming into college weren't born in 1997.It's actually quite amazing that Nebraska, who plays in one of the worst P5 divisions and regularly recruits fairly decently, has gone that long without winning just 6 games in a season. Just 6 games, that's it. And what's even more shocking is that it's not like they're getting to 5 games every year. They're averaging like 3-4 wins per year in that stretch, not even getting close to bowl eligibility.
It's amazing how badly David Shaw ran that program into the ground. I used to say he wasn't a very good HC as evidenced by the steady decline year after year and got roasted for it.Miami - 2020
Colorado - 2020
Virginia - 2019
BC - 2019
Cal - 2019
Stanford - 2018
GA Tech - 2018
Vanderbilt - 2018
Arizona - 2017
Nebraska - 2016

The only time I have heard about the 1997 "Shared" National Championship is here, and from Nebraska fans ... I ain't letting that go.

10 longest Power 5 bowl-game droughts entering 2023 season
Bowl games have become the barometer for successful college football seasons, but not every Power 5 team has had the opportunity to play in one over the past few campaigns.bvmsports.com
It’s the little thingsI'm so happy for you.

It the ol' rope-a-dope. The late 20s belong to Nebraska.its actually harder to lose how we have lost than actually win 6 games. I think we need credit for that.
Meh, “ Bestist practices ever!”It the ol' rope-a-dope. The late 20s belong to Nebraska.
I wouldn't mind having Stanford in the Big Ten for their non-football & basketball programs. No wonder no one wanted Cal and Stanford.
70-31 was a program killer.Granted I do not keep up with Nebraska, but to discover they haven't been bowling since 2015 is a surprize.
That's insane considering the history. WTF!
Hire a new AD, a new coach or a new university chancellor...do something for fucks sake!
