INVESTIGATIVE UNIT: LSU football player Kyren Lacy dead; faced grand jury Monday

BATON ROUGE — Former LSU wide receiver Kyren Lacy, accused of negligent homicide after a fatal crash near Chackbay late last year, has died. WBRZ Investigative Unit sources said the cause of death was suicide.

Also, prayers to the victim and victim’s family that died possibly bc of him. Maybe the guilt was wearing on him and he took the easy way out.

Yeah I'm not going to lie and say I'm a little disappointed he took the easy way out. Good thing HE doesn't have to deal with the aftermaths of HIS actions. Now his family and the family of his victim has to make sense of it all. What a POS this guy is for doing that to his own family.

I don’t think guilt was getting to him. If it was guilt, he wouldn’t have fled the scene and would have turned himself immediately and there would have been a possibility of a redemption arc. He was depressed he got caught and he destroyed his NFL chances while being a potential first round pick. He saw the mess he made of his life through his own actions and took the coward’s way out.

The victim’s family for sure needs t and p’s, along with Lacy’s family, but I’m not sad for him in the least
