Isn't this the guy the White Sox pretended to be interested in signing the other year but instead signed Dallas Keuchel?

Fun fact, the White Sox are among a very small group of shit teams that have never handed out a $100MM contract still. The largest contract in team history, dating back to 1901 mind you, is to Andrew fucking Benintendi for $75MM. That's shitfucked, eh, YAPP?

he's been fine and made the padres relevant again, among others, the reup, along with other signings just highlights how much these owners can spend without seeing a loss to their bottom dollar. hell phil's guy recently had the best quote on that, which you would hope all owners would share with.
