I stopped going to Raiders games at Qualcomm because the violence and drunkenness for that game was just beyond belief. I had told myself not to go to any more of them but then my UPS account exec offered me two great seats for free and I took my son and that was the last Chargers game I ever went to. Just insanity from the second you got out of the car til you finally navigated the hours-long maze and gridlock of getting the fuck outta the Qualcomm parking lot and onto the 15.

Chargers/Raiders was the only game I’ve ever been kicked out of. Some buddies and I went down for the game and pre-gamed hard. Smuggled more booze into the stadium and were absolutely hammered by halftime. My buddy threw up right in front of security and got tossed. I tried to convince them not to toss him and got tossed as well.

that year the skins started 0-5. Then got their shit together & went 8-3 & when the skins fired Marty, I was like oh thank god!

Marty was a damn good coach for sure. He just couldn't stop himself from getting ultra conservative in big games (especially late in big games) and I believe it cost him a ring or two.
