Bookie:
$ 10,650.00
For a third rounder. Falcons can finally properly tank now. Think they may have to run the triple option next season though. No QB and no receivers

Sooo... Baker to ATL then?
They need to do a complete rebuild. Roll with a scrub QB for a year, get a top pick next year and trade away any decent pieces they do have to stockpile picks. They have to eat 40 million of dead cap space on Ryan’s contract too

yeah this screams tank. And they have a good WR coming back in 2023, so good time to bank some cash, carry some cap over, and suck for #1 in 2022

a QB on his rookie 5th year would be a good pickup if cheap. a 3rd rounder at most. Baker not going to like a prove-it year with that ATL team though

Mayfield is an every other year player. He’ll probably have a good season next year. We don’t need 7 wins with a 3 win roster again like we did last year

I was just trolling you with that suggestion.

Colts on the hook for cap numbers of like $27M this year and $28M next year. Not too bad, actually.

Cmon Seattle let’s grab Baker now

For some reason I think SEA goes and gets Fitzpatrick. Not sure why, just feels like a Pete move.

Plus I could never pull for Baker Mayfield. Went from doing throat slash gestures in the first half of the Rose Bowl to crying like Nancy Kerrigan after his team blew a big second half team and lost. Can’t respect that

Not sure I get this from Indy’s perspective. Ryan’s best years are behind him and I’m not sure they were old, immobile QB away from relevance last season.

Corderelle Patterson probably regrets signing that new contract now.

Ryan can still make the throws when he has protection. Indy is a better fit for him

Yeah it's a head scratcher, but Indy must not thing they are legit contenders next season. This gives them 2 seasons to figure out the QB spot. Maybe they plan to reach for a QB this draft and let him sit and learn? They are short of draft picks unless they are willing to wait for the 4th or 5th round.

I thought that, but it’s pretty lean at QB this draft. I’m not sure who they’d go after.

Whoever they would draft at QB, it would be a stretch for sure. Maybe they sit out this draft and try next season? This feels like they saw an opportunity to at least have a stable body back there and they took it. better than a rotation of guys every week.

Arthur Blank is a likeable guy, but he is a shit owner. Thomas Dimitroff has been the GM since 2008. 2 head coaches have been shitcanned, but somehow he kept his job through both. He can’t build an o-line or a decent front 7. But he keeps his job. Letting a team with so little talent get in cap hell should be an automatic firing

Sooo... What you're saying is that the Baker to ATL suggestion might actually happen?
