Didn't realize Mexican families were making it up this far! Hope the cop taught 'em a lil sumpthin about snow removal.

Florida Man took a vacation to WI, huh?

When I was a teenager, one of my uncles did something like this, only instead of a lawn chair, he build a wooden bench, bolted it to the floor, and put a blanket over it.

Growing up in rural WI was a blessing.

One of my summer jobs when I was in HS we had an old shop truck. Old piece of shit but kept running. Our shop manager decided he was going to fix it up, for some reason. So he took the old bench seat out of it and never replaced it. For about a month I dreaded being told "take the old rigging truck and go..." because it meant sitting on an upside down 5 gallon bucket. He left the seatbelt in it so you could still drape it across your chest and look like you were wearing a seatbelt. :pound:

Tell ya what, I never tried to go racing around a corner in that thing. I did enjoy getting it up to speed on the highway and then turning the key off, flooring the gas pedal, and turning it back on. The thing would backfire like a mother and puff a little flame out the side. Was hilarious to watch people swerve on the highway. I was a dumb kid.

I was sitting on a 5 gallon bucket for about a week when I first got that old Toyota pickup. I eventually got a seat for it. Had more leg room with the bucket though
and more likely to get hemorrhoids.

Florida gets a bad rap. Short of trekking to Alaska, I would vote Pennsylvania the most fucked up state in the union. Washington State is right in PA's heels.

I've driven a couple grain trucks with tractor seats welded in.

When I was a kid “the bee truck” (bed was all hives) just had a metal shelf welded in.

Nobody wanted to drive that thing.

there’s a joke about “comes equipped with bucket seats” and people who live in rural Georgia in this story but I’m gonna pass. Consider it a belated birthday gift!
