Seems obvious to me. I don't know what the end game is. Maybe the honeymoon between Wilson and Carroll is over. Maybe Hollywood Russ and Ciara want to relocate their jetset lifestyle in LA.

Wilson had a steep dropoff in performance after a hot start last season. They could trade him to Miami for multiple high draft picks.

I think Wilson would not go to Miami. LA for sure. Probably NY to.

That would be perfect if he wasn't such a celebrity schmooze. But he clearly seeks the celebrity status and limelight and is already setting up his next career. Taking that into consideration, I don't think he would go to Miami. And the additional commercial endorsement he could contract with would more than make up for whatever tax concessions and COLA he would get in Flordia

The Russell Wilson is usually on top of this shit and would quickly shut it down, if false, but so far he has been silent. Something is up. Maybe it is just his ego, being upset that there are QBs making $10 million a year more than he is. But I think it is even more than that. I think that WorshipMeWilson wants to be in a bigger media market.

Airing your frustrations to a team that has tailored their entire offense around exploiting his strengths and trying to hide his weaknesses? Him being upset could’ve worked last offseason but now that NFL DC’s know how to shut him down isn’t the right time.
 
His OL has been pretty spotty since he's been there.....he might have had a really good OL for a few seasons but he's spent a lot of his career there scrambling around looking for a WR downfield because his protection hasn't been that elite.

I'm a Seahawk fan. I've been following his career since his first training camp. His OL has always had challenges when compared to what Hasselback had in his prime. But Russell chose to demand the highest contract in football at the time he re-signed. That leads to a salary compromise somewhere among the other 57 players on the roster. And that compromise typically, historically, in the NFL, has usually lead to an underpaid offensive line. If Wilson wants a better line then maybe he should think about deferring pay like Brady did in New England, to give the team more flexibility to sign better free agents.

And now they are also extremely short on running backs because both Carson and Hyde are free agents. Carroll wants to focus more on RBs (even though they no longer have any good ones)and defense next year. So it doesn't take a Jennie in a bottle to know where the money will be spent this off season. Wilson wants an offense that exploits his natural talents. Something or someone has to give somewhere.

You can always draft OL, doesn't have to be a FA.....

Last year they went LB and DE in the first 2 rounds.

In 2019? DE and S.

In 2018 RB and DE.

In 2017 DT and C.

In 2016 OT and DT.

In 2015 DE and WR.

They don't put a priority on the OL is the point. They could, they choose not to.

They've drafted plenty of OL guys with Okung, Carpenter and Ifedi being the first round poster boys. Schneider has proven to be great at drafting defensive players and QBs, but merely mediocre at drafting OLmen (Lewis, Haynes, Moffitt, Britt, Poole, Odhambo). And when he does land a good one, he refuses to pay them and left as soon as they were FA eligible..... Seattle didn't want to pay them anything close to what they could get on the open market.
